NEXT week's imperfect prose prompt is....

“Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“It's just that in the Deep South, women learn at a young age that when the world is falling apart around you, it's time to take down the drapes and make a new dress.”
Karen Marie Moning, Faefever

2 Corinthians 4:16-18  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,  as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

(thank you to all who participated in yesterday's prompt... we hope that by providing a word, you'll find both a challenge and a community. love you all. on a business trip this weekend to Portland, OR, so will get to your links when i can. e. )

  1. thanks for posting this ahead of time, em! i love the idea of a prompt, but with my schedule. . . well, my post for this week just fell flat with the time limitation. especially in light of what others were writing. i need the time to ponder a bit more, lol :-)
    have a great weekend!

    1. ahhh, me too. it was completely a God thing that I already had a piece in the works that went along with the theme.. and then a second follow-up piece. i am grateful for a little more time too :). but i do love the prompts, it is challenging me to get out of the box.

  2. Hmmm, I think I didn't use the prompt this week. :/ But I'm on track now and I love that quote from Faefever.
